We are glad to see that the number of applicants has been tripled after the announcement of the new rules. However, due to the age difference of their home server, big level difference can be spotted between the applicants. In order to allow as many applicants to the tournament as possible without aggravating the imbalance, we decided to divide all the participants into 2 tentative groups : Level 100-140 and Level 141-145.
In the mean time, the registration is still open. We might adjust or subdivide the groups if more applications are received by the end of Wednesday.
Tournament Rules
Time: 23:00, July 15 (PDT, or GMT-7)
Server: EventOnly
Goal: To wipe out counterparts from other servers
1. The server "EventOnly" is invisible in the server list until 30 minutes before the tournament starts. Please log in with your account and password. (The EventOnly server is accessible to the participants only and will not open to spectators for now.)
If you can't find EventOnly by 22:30, please update your server list file manually. Details can be found at http://destiny.enjoymmo.com/uncategorized/event-server-list.html
2. Once you log into EventOnly, you will find that your character has been recruited into tribe Panda, Koala, Giraffe, Dolphin or Zebra according to your home server. Please put on your tribal title so others can tell their friends and foes at a glance.
3. The GM will announce in the World Chat which group will start the match first. Please be sure to talk to him and get in the arena as soon as possible.
4. Your goal is to work with your server mates to fight for the honor of the Strongest Server. As everyone's PK mode in the arena will be switched to "Free" automatically, that is to say, your brothers and sisters in arms can be hurt by friendly fire, which tremendously adds to the difficulty and excitement of PKing. Therefore ingenious plans and flexible tactics are required to secure the final victory.
5. Those who get killed will find themselves revived in Golden Plume City. The tournament will come to an end in any of the following conditions:.
a) there is only one survivor in the arena. His or her server will be the winner of the PK tournament.
b) there are multiple survivors in the arena and all of them belong to the same server. Their server will be the winner of the PK tournament.
c) there are multiple survivors from different tribes/servers by 23:59. It will be a tie.
6. The second group will start their competition 15 minutes after the first group finishes. Please pay attention to GM's announcement in the World Chat.
Reward
1. Honor Points
Every attendant of the PK Tournament, winning or losing, will get some Honor Points as the consolation prize; winners of each level group will be awarded with extra Honor Points according to their character levels.
2. Unique Titles
Winners of the top level group can choose from the PA title "Tyrant" and the PD title "Hero"; those of the other groups will be given the title "Hero".
3. The Strongest Server
Winners of the top level group will not only be greatly rewarded but bring glory and benefits to their people: their home server will be named "the Strongest Server" in the server list for a whole week and the whole server will enjoy up to 10 extra double EXP time from Server-wide EXP Totems given to the winners.
