Character Transfer
The Inter-server PK Tournament will take place on a brand new event-exclusive server "EventOnly". Therefore we will need to copy the data of your characters to that server before the battle commences.
The data transfer process is scheduled to be conducted from 01:00 to 03:00 August 26, 2010. Please get your character ready before 01:00, equip it with your best gear and carrying the best potions and items and stay offline during this time window.
Everything in your backpack and warehouse will be transferred along with your character and pets. However, your characters on the 2 servers are completely independent to each other. Whatever happens in one server, whether you pick up a Dragon Bone or consume a large amount of Gold, will have no influence on the one in the other server.
Schedule of the Tournament:
August 26, Thursday
20:00-21:00 Group A (Participants can log into the event server at 19:30)
23:00-24:00 Group B (Participants can log into the event server at 22:30)
August 27, Friday
00:30-01:30 Group C (Participants can log into the event server at 00:00)
Rules
1. EventOnly will appear in the server list at 19:30, August 26 but you can’t log into it until 30 minutes before your group match starts. For example, A group B participant will not be able to get into EventOnly at 19:30 but at 22:30
If you can’t find EventOnly by 19:30, chances are that your game client is unable to update the server list file automatically. You will need to do it manually. Details can be found at http://destiny.enjoymmo.com/uncategorized/event-server-list.html
2. Once you log into EventOnly, you will find that your character has been recruited into tribe Panda, Koala, Giraffe, Dolphin or Zebra according to your home server. Please put on your tribal title so others can tell their friends and foes at a glance.
3. NPC Tournament Manager will arrive at (210,120) in Golden Plume City 10 minutes before the tournament starts. Please be sure to talk to him and get in the arena as soon as possible.
4. Your goal is to work with your server mates to fight for the honor of the Strongest Server. As everyone’s PK mode in the arena will be switched to “Free” automatically, that is to say, your brothers and sisters in arms can be hurt by friendly fire, which tremendously adds to the difficulty and excitement of PKing. Therefore ingenious plans and flexible tactics are required to secure the final victory.
5. The tournament will last 1 hour. Those who get killed will find themselves revived in Golden Plume City. The tournament will come to an end in any of the following conditions:.
a) there is only one survivor in the arena. His or her server will be the winner of the PK tournament.
b) there are multiple survivors in the arena and all of them belong to the same server. Their server will be the winner of the PK tournament.
c) there are multiple survivors from different tribes/servers after one hour. It will be a tie.
6. Please log off and go back to your home servers after the tournament ends. GMs will contact you in your home servers in a week to give you the rewards. Please note that whatever you get in the course of the tournament or in any other methods in EventOnly cannot be brought back to your home server, including but not limited to EXP, Silver and items.
Reward
1. Honor Points
Every attendant of the PK Tournament, winning or losing, will get some Honor Points as the consolation prize; winners of each level group will be awarded with extra Honor Points according to their character levels.
2. Unique Titles
Winners of the top level group can choose from the PA title "Tyrant" and the PD title "Hero"; those of the other groups will be given the title "Hero".
3. The Strongest Server
Winners of the top level group will not only be greatly rewarded but bring glory and benefits to their people: their home server will be named "the Strongest Server" in the server list for a whole week and the whole server will enjoy up to 10 extra double EXP time from Server-wide EXP Totems given to the winners.
4. Time-limited Stats Outfit (August Only)
From this round on till the end of August, we will raise the Honor Point reward by 50% and prepare a surprise for the final winners of each group - a brand-new time-limited stats outfit! The bonus reward will only be given out in August’s tournament only. Don’t miss the good opportunity.
